1. Introduction

Woodlight Media ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use Python Wizardry.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

• Account Data: When you sign in with Google, we store your Email Address and Name to create your profile.
• Progress Data: We store your current level, XP, and game progress in our database.
• Purchase Data: We store your License Key and premium status. We do not store credit card numbers. All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data solely to:

• Allow you to log in and save your game progress.
• Verify your purchase license.
• Send transactional emails (e.g., welcome guides or support replies).

4. Third-Party Services

We trust the following providers to handle data securely:

• Google Firebase: Secure Hosting, Database, and Authentication.
• Lemon Squeezy: Payment processing and VAT handling.
• Vercel: Website infrastructure.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to request a copy of your data or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@woodlightmedia.education.

Terms of Service

1. The Service

Python Wizardry is an educational game designed to teach programming concepts. While we aim for accuracy in alignment with the UK curriculum, we cannot guarantee it covers every aspect of the Python language.

2. License Usage

• Personal License: Valid for 1 individual user. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
• Classroom Bundle: Valid for up to 35 users within a single class/institution for 1 year. The license key must not be shared publicly.

3. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund policy for the Personal License if the product has not been substantially used (e.g., less than 50% of levels completed). School licenses are non-refundable once activated due to the digital nature of the goods.

4. Liability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but are not liable for temporary outages due to technical maintenance. Woodlight Media is not responsible for academic results or exam performance.
